Tournament Admin

CCE UCX, a leading esports organization, is seeking a skilled and organized Tournament Admin to oversee the planning, execution, and management of our esports tournaments. As a Tournament Admin, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, fair competition, and an engaging experience for participants and spectators alike.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage all aspects of esports tournaments hosted by CCE UCX.

Plan and schedule tournament dates, formats, and rules in collaboration with the esports team.

Create and distribute tournament announcements, registration forms, and guidelines to participants.

Oversee registration and check-in processes, ensuring accurate participant information.

Set up and manage tournament brackets, seeding, and match schedules.

Resolve conflicts, disputes, and rule violations during matches, maintaining fairness and sportsmanship.

Communicate with participants, team captains, and casters/commentators to ensure smooth tournament operations.

Provide technical support and assistance to participants during the tournament.

Streamline communication and provide regular updates to participants, staff, and the community.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of tournaments into live broadcasts or streams.

Collect feedback and suggestions from participants to improve future tournament experiences.

Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tournament formats, and game updates.
Requirements:

Passion for esports and extensive knowledge of the competitive gaming landscape.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in tournament management platforms, such as Battlefy or Smash.gg.

Familiarity with popular esports titles and their respective tournament formats.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts and stressful situations calmly.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Prior experience in tournament administration or a similar role is preferred.
